Kat Von D VoxBox

Kat Von D Lock-It Precision Powder Brush: I’m in love. My normal go to setting powder brush has been the real techniques brush. However since receiving this one I found myself reaching for it over my real techniques brush.

Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Powder: I am a huge fan of setting powders and believe in the magic they do. This one in particular, is my favorite because it’s slightly tinted so my face doesn’t have a white tint to it in pictures.

Kat Von D Lock-It Edge Concealer Brush: I really like how dense this precious. Personally, I don’t really use it for concealer because I like to use my fingers and a beauty blender to blend it out. I have found out however, that it’s really good for cream eyeshadows.

Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Crème: I received his shades 09 and 17. Not quite the perfect shades for me, but I can make them work. I’m really liking these concealers very much. They are very creamy and easy to blend, but I’m a die-hard MAC Pro Longwear girl. I also like the packaging.

Disclaimer: Although, I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes, the review of each item is are all my own.

I think he is absolutely genius, and with his new venture coming our way I just cannot wait! Now I’m not talking just fragrances, I’m talking about make up! From what I can see the colors are gorgeous, and coming from Marc Jacobs I can only imagine that the quality will be just as amazing.

Pantene Beautiful Lengths Hair Donation

I had decided at the beginning of the month that it was time to donate the hair I’d been growing the past several years to either Wigs for Kids or Pantene Beautiful Lengths. I chose Pantene because they make the wigs for women cancer patients and give them to them for free. I wanted to support women by sending my hair to help one of them

If you want to donate:

To be honest you might start to feel a bit like a sheep, growing its wool out to be shorn, but when you send in that ponytail knowing you’re helping a person in need, it’s so worth it.

Im really picky when choosing a lip product because my lips easily chap, but i have no problem with this. Its moisturizing and highly pigmented. It glides on very smoothly.

I was looking high and low for a shampoo-conditioner combo for my toddler..do you know how hard that is to find? Very. Most are shampoo and body wash which dries out her hair. Plus, with a wiggly toddler, who wants to have to do shampoo then conditioner?? Anyway, this one was also nice because it didn’t have parabens which I’ve been focusing on for our household hair products. It doesn’t condition a ton, but doesn’t dry my toddler’s hair out as much as other things. The packaging is terrible as the cap is hard to open so when you open the flip top it pops off the whole cap, not just the little opening to squeeze the product out of. Minor detail I suppose just annoying when using this everyday and have to fiddle with the cap with two hands when one is usually busy with a squirmy kid…
